History of the School : It was the dream of the management of The New Education Society to have a unit through the medium of English. Shri Vasudevji Goenka encouraged the management to turn this vision of the society into a reality. Members of the Management Shri.Hemraj Samani, Shri Vinodkumar Lohia , Shri.Nirmalkumar Lohia, Shri S.K.Kulkarni, Shri.V.M.Kulkarni, Shri.G.N.Kulkarni, Shri.S.K.Katti, Col.Ravikant Jadhav, Sou.Hema Chandekar, took the lead in taking first steps towards setting up the foundation of the English Medium School. 2-classes Jr.Kg and Sr.Kg were started on 23rd Aug 2005 with an enrollment of 21 students, The first unit in English medium of the ‘The New Education, Society’ was thus established with a temporary name ‘New English Medium School. Further with generous contribution from Mr.Vasudevji Goenka  towards the school funds, the school acquired the name“VIMALA GOENKA ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL” on 07/08/2008. Mrs. Sujata Lohia is looking after the administration of school alongwith Headmistress Mrs.Sayali Joshi. School Progress : The School proposes to expand upto std X by the year 2015-2016. Presently in 2018-19 the school consists of 1842 students with classes from Nursery till std.XII with total 40 divisions. The staff consists of well trained and qualified 76 teachers and 26 non-teaching members. A School Management Committee looks into the quality control and physical requirements of the school.
